Allentown, PA is 36 miles to the west, Philadelphia, PA is 96 miles south, the capital city of Trenton is just an hour's drive south, Newark International Airport is 42 miles east, and an hour's drive east is the Big Apple, New York City. The North Branch of the Hunterdon County Library is conveniently located in Clinton.

Clinton History

Rich limestone deposits assured good farmland throughout the area.

A gift of land, which is now the Wescott Nature Preserve was donated to the County in 1966 and became the foundation for the Hunterdon County Park System.
